Business Development Manager – (m/f/d)
Benelux – Northern & Eastern Europe

The Business Development Manager builds, maintains, and develops effective long-term relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues.

The Business Development Manager is expected to:

  • Drive the business development and sales activities for the assigned product portfolio, maintaining current customer base and developing and executing plans to increase sales and market share
  • Identify and investigate new business opportunities and projects, ensure follow up and closure
  • Negotiate prices with customers and closing orders • Works closely with the distributor network to increase sales
  • Drive the sales pipeline to achieve booking target, implement leads tracking and reporting to secure all opportunities
  • Build relationships with accounts and the distribution network
  • Forecast for the assigned territory
  • Contribute to periodic reporting to management regarding business development activity
  • Capture and monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, contracts etc.
  • Provide competitive feedback and Market analysis
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures


  • Ideally a minimum of 5-years of sales experience
  • HPLC knowledge
  • Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioprocessing, or Chemistry
  • Excellent in building networks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, any additional local language is a plus)
  • Located in Benelux or Northern Europe
