Technical Inside Sales Specialist

GPC Systems, Analytical Columns and Process Resins (m/f/d)

The Technical Inside Sales Specialist serves both as a sales role as well as a technical expert for our customers. It is your main mission to help develop and execute a business plan to qualify leads, develop opportunities and grow revenues of assigned customer base. The position works closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and the Technical Group to build up lasting customer relationships.

This position reports to the Sales Manager EMEA.

The Technical Inside Sales Specialist is expected to:

  • Build customer relationships to achieve revenue targets – via active selling through phone and digital communication
  • As a technical expert understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide solutions best suited to address customer needs.
  • Effectively communicate internally and externally
  • Take responsibility for sales and margins of assigned customer base
  • Execute lead qualification campaigns in cooperation with Marketing and Field Sales
  • Regularly utilize analytics tools and CRM system to document and monitor customer interactions and success
  • Attend regional and national events and trade shows as applicable


  • Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioprocessing or Chemistry
  • Experience in Polymer Science market is a plus
  • First experience in Sales or Customer Support is a plus
  • High degree of self-motivation and independence paired with strong teamworking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
  • Highly organized and excellent time management • Strong selling and negotiating skills
  • Moderate travel requirement approx. 10%
