Territory Manager -
Switzerland & Germany (Zip 7-9)

(m/f/d)


The Territory Manager builds, maintains and develops effective long-term relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues. Core duties include direct sales in the territory and support of distributor network, ownership of customer satisfaction initiatives and financial management responsibilities like sales revenue and profit growth. 

The Territory Manager is expected to:
  • Drive direct sales activities for the assigned product portfolio and support distribution network
  • Develop and execute plans and tactics to increase sales, customer base and market share
  • Negotiate prices with customers and closing orders
  • Drive the sales pipeline to achieve booking target, implement leads tracking and reporting to secure all opportunities
  • Build relationships with accounts and the distribution network
  • Forecast for the assigned territory
  • Contribute to periodic reporting to management regarding business development activity
  • Capture and monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, contracts etc.
  • Provide competitive feedback and market analysis
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures 

Requirements:

  • Ideally 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Degree in Biochemistry, Bioprocessing, Biology, or Chemistry
  • Experience in the chromatography field, ideally SEC, IEC and/or HIC of proteins, mAbs and/or biomolecules
  • Excellent in building networks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, any additional local language is a plus)
  • Primary Territory will be Switzerland & Germany (Zip: 7,8,9)
  • Home office based
