Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/d)

… with a passion to help our customers reach their ambitious goals

The Technical Sales Specialist serves both as a sales role as well as a technical expert for our customers. It is your main mission to develop and execute a business plan to grow the assigned territory.

Your challenge

    • You will provide field support and development of defined key accounts, customers and sales partners for the Separations Business Unit (HPLC columns, process resins and/or GPC instruments)
    • You are responsible for the sales and margin development
    • You develop and implement sales strategies to grow your territory
    • You identify and create new opportunities
    • You build a strong relationship with key accounts and distributors
    • You understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide solutions best positioned to address customer needs
    • You collaborate with Supporting functions to monitor and achieve customer satisfaction
    • You provide input for Application development work for Company laboratory
    • You provide input for new product development and improvements
    • You organize and conduct seminars at major customers
    • You attend regional, and national trade shows
    • You maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending designated training as and when required.
    • You develop and maintain deep knowledge of our market space, products and buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory

Your Profile

    • You have a master or bachelor degree in Science (or equivalent by experience)
    • You ideally have +3 years of experience in a similar role
    • You have a proven track record in sales
    • You have commercial experience in the chromatography field
    • You have the ability to work autonomously but you also enjoy working in a team
    • You are customer oriented
    • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
    • You have excellent knowledge of English and German
    • Other languages are a plus
    • MS Office, SAP, Apple tools
    • You are willing to travel extensively – up to 70% (with overnight stay as required)
    • Your Primary Territory will be Switzerland & Germany (Zip: 7,8,9)
    • Home office based
