Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/d)

EMEA Region


The Technical Inside Sales Specialist serves both as a sales representative and a technical expert for our customers. Your main mission is to help develop and execute a business plan across the EMEA region to qualify leads, develop opportunities, and grow revenues of assigned customer groups through extensive outreach. The main focus are customers working with biomolecules. The product portfolio includes Analytical Columns and advanced detectors as well as Process Resins and Multi-Column Chromatography systems. The position works closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and the Technical Group to build up lasting customer relationships.

The Technical Inside Sales Specialist is expected to: 

    • Build customer relationships to achieve revenue targets through active selling via phone and digital communication with comprehensive outreach. 
    • As a technical expert understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide solutions best suited to address customer needs. 
    • Effectively communicate internally and externally. 
    • Take responsibility for sales and margins of assigned customer base. 
    • Execute lead qualification campaigns in cooperation with Marketing and Field Sales. 
    • Regularly utilize analytics tools and CRM system to document and monitor customer interactions and success. 
    • Attend regional and national events and trade shows as applicable. 

Requirements:

    • Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioprocessing or Chemistry 
    • Experience in analytical and process chromatography 
    • First experience in Sales or Customer Support is a plus. 
    • High degree of self-motivation and independence paired with strong teamworking skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other EMEA languages (particularly South- or East European) is a big plus. 
    • Highly organized and excellent time management 
    • Strong selling and negotiating skills 
    • Moderate travel requirement approx. 10%
