TOYOPEARL Phenyl-600M is based on a 75 nm (750 Å) pore size polymethacrylate base material bonded with phenyl groups. Its pore size has been optimized for the purification of monoclonal antibodies. It has an intermediate hydrophobicity, which is slightly higher than the one of the 100 nm pore size TOYOPEARL Phenyl-650. This resin is also available in pre-packed SkillPak columns to simplify your process development and scale up.
TOYOPEARL Phenyl-600M is typically used for intermediate purification or polishing steps. It is a very high recovery and high dynamic capacity resin for both large and small proteins. When used as the polishing step up to an extra 5% yield may be seen compared to other Phenyl resins.
