TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650
TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650 is a high capacity cation exchange resin optimized for the high throughput purification of IgG’s. It is composed of polymethacrylate beads that have been chemically modified to provide a higher number of cationic binding sites and functionalized with carboxymethyl (CM) weak cation exchange groups.
TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650 exhibits different selectivity than the TOYOPEARL GigaCap S-650 resin. This difference, combined with its unusually high capacity for a weak cation exchange resin, may be exploited for wither mAb or traditional protein purifications. TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650 resin is available in 75 µm particle size, which corresponds to the M-grade designation for TOYOPEARL resins.
TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650M exhibits typical dynamic binding capacities of 100 g/L for human IgG and maintains its high capacity at increased linear velocities. It has excellent binding and elution kinetics, which results in a more concentrated protein fraction collected during the elution step. TOYOPEARL GigaCap CM-650 media also has excellent caustic stability in 0.5 mol/L NaOH. This resin is also available in pre-packed SkillPak columns to simplify your process development and scale up.
