TSKgel BioAssist Q
TSKgel BioAssist Q columns are packed with polymethacrylate particles containing very large pores (~400 nm) that are functionalized with polyamine groups to form a network structure. The very large pores allow large biomolecules to freely enter and exit the pores resulting in higher binding capacity and better recovery of activity than other competitive materials. The capacity of the TSKgel BioAssist Q columns is high over a wide molecular weight range (up to 1.0 × 10^6 Da).
The standard TSKgel BioAssist Q column is 4.6 mm ID x 5 cm, while a 10 mm ID x 10 cm semi-preparative column is available for scale-up. Both columns are made of PEEK to reduce protein adsorption.
