TSKgel Ether-5PW
TSKgel Ether-5PW is based on a highly crosslinked 100 nm (1000 Å) pore size polymethacrylate base material bonded with polyether groups. TSKgel Ether-5PW provides the lowest hydrophobicity of the five HIC ligands offered by Tosoh Bioscience. It is useful for the separation of very hydrophobic molecules such as membrane proteins. It is typically used for high performance chromatography and polishing steps. It has the same selectivity as the larger particle TOYOPEARL Ether-650 products.
TSKgel Ether-5PW is less hydrophobic than Phenyl-5PW and the best choice for the separation of very hydrophobic proteins or monoclonal antibodies.
