Sales Manager - EMEA


As Sales Manager for the EMEA region, you will be part of the Leadership Team, and lead and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth. In addition, you are responsible for managing a high-performing sales team, building strong customer relationships, and promoting the company’s products and solutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. 

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Support.  

The Sales Manager EMEA is expected to  

  • Coach, inspire and grow the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets. 
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to achieve or exceed the sales objectives 
  • Create, manage and review each territory plan and sales funnel 
  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts 
  • Collaborate with supply chain to address supply and forecasting matters 
  • Accompany the territory managers on customer visits to advance opportunities and identify areas for improvement 
  • Support the team during sales presentations, discussions and negotiations with customers in order to increase their success rate 
  • Create innovative solutions and apply technology, tools and communications to keep high motivation within the commercial team 
  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures 


    • Bachelor or master degree in Science (or equivalent by experience) 
    • Ideally have 5+ years of experience a similar role with a proven track record in successfully driving a sales team 
    • Working knowledge of chromatography and the biopharmaceutical industry 
    • Excellent negotiation, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Demonstrate excellent leadership abilities 
    • Empathic and dynamic person 
    • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills. German is a plus. 
    • Excellent presentation skills 
    • MS Office, SAP, CRM tools 
    • Willingness to travel (>50%)
